The Studio
The Studio.
Hooray! I'm excited to post that I have now moved from my tiny glass "work room" into my new glass Studio!! (I'll be posting the final pics of the renovation any day now!). The Studio is located at my home here in Poplarville, Mississippi.
Currently I work on a Nortel Minor torch using a mix of propane and oxygen but will be upgrading to a Lynx (yay!) this winter. My beads leave the fire and go directly into a digitally-controlled kiln where they soak at 940 degrees. I work with both soft (soda lime) and hard (borosilicate) glasses.
A pic of me in the OLD space . . . one small corner of our laundry room; really small and cramped, but way better than nothing when you're a pyromaniac!
